LURACO Technologies completed acquisition of a 42,000 sq. ft. facility in Arlington, TX. Conveniently, the additional space is located next to LURACO’s existing facility and will be able to be utilized immediately. As several new products are in launching process, this expansion will provide LURACO with the much-needed space for its additional production, engineering laboratory, office, and for its growing military and commercial divisions.

LURACO Technologies was selected as one of the Top Ten Fastest Growing Asian American Owned Companies by the U.S Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce “USPAACC “ -Southwest region. The criteria for this selection was professional and financial growth over a three-year period.
USPAACC is an organization that promotes the professional development of Asian Americans in major corporations and Asian American owned companies across the United States. To be qualified, the company must have majority ownership by an Asian American.
Also, winning this award qualified Luraco for consideration of the USPAACC’s award for the TOP 50 Fastest Growing Asian-American owned companies across the US. That award was received in May 2016.

LURACO Technologies, Inc. was selected for Phase I funding award from the United States Air Force. The objective of this program was to develop the next generation of Full Authority Digital Electronic Control (FADEC) system to be used in jet engines of military aircraft. During Phase I, LURACO will develop a proof-of-concept for novel distributed engine control architecture that was able to withstand aircraft engine environments, networked with various sensors, actuators, controllers, and interfaced with various sensor modalities and technologies.

LURACO Technologies, Inc. received Phase II contact from United States Army for the research and development of the MEMS-based intelligent Multi-tasked Sensor (MultiSENS) that was used in the U.S military aircrafts.
As part of the agreement, LURACO partnered with the University of Texas at Arlington to produce the Multi-Tasked MEMS Sensor package. MultiSENS replaced the current Delta P indicator that was then being used on military legacy aircrafts without interfering with the wiring harnesses or system modification. The basic function of MultiSENS was to automatically analyze and report multiple aircraft engine lubricant parameters.

LURACO Technologies demonstrated a toxic gas-sensing network to detect and locate the source of toxic chemicals. The network was able to detect very low concentrations of CO and NOx gases. This toxic gas-sensing network offered great enhancements to commercial and military applications as well as assisting in the national effort to increase alertness to potential terrorist chemical threats and elevate public security.

LURACO and EO-Tek formed partnership
LURACO Technologies and EO-Tek, Inc., signed a partnership agreement. That supported LURACO to manufacture and commercialize its product prototypes and gave LURACO access to prototypes, tests, and manufacturing equipments. This partnership was forged the development phase of time needed to market LURACO products.
